VASP Registration Application
The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (the "Authority") is advising of changes to the Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) application form. Effective 01 April 2025, the current VASP application form, APP 101-84-05, has been amended to facilitate VASP licensing and waiver applications upon the commencement of Phase Two of the VASP legislative framework.
Important Transition Information:
- All new VASP applications for registration, licence or waiver from 01 April 2025 onwards must be submitted using the updated APP 101-84-05 form via the REEFS portal.
- The APP-101-84-05 form is an interim form and an updated version will be released in due course. As a result, all applications for licensing and waiver will be further required to upload additional documents using a zip file in schedule “I” and “J” as relevant.
- Applications that are in progress as of 31 March 2025 can still be completed and submitted.

For example: in any of the grey boxes below you can search for a Reporting Window using only a partial string such as %Sample% which will return rows that have the word sample anywhere in the name. Similarly the search term sample% will return only those rows that start with the word sample.
